Busy Day, Eventful Day . . .
Two hours and twenty minutes past Ideal Time . . .
Well, this morning showed OCD is not necessarily a good thing; it's a good thing Dr. Heyes and Co. are patient with their patients, not to mention a call ahead of time warning of my lateness. I'll try to avoid this next time; no, I'd better avoid this next time, I hate the lateness I've become tolerant of, I'm Mr. Punctual!
Charlotte's apointment in the afternoon went without a hitch, though still a couple of minutes late; it's not about getting there on time, it's about getting there early!
In other news, America Maron Romero, my maternal grandmother, a human being for 99 years, passed into the ether at 4 PM this afternoon. She had been diagnosed with leukemia a few years go, and we knew this day was coming for a while. It is not a matter of mourning her death, but celebrating her 99 years on this planet. By a bizarre coincidence, Kim's (stepsister) dog Jetta passed away at almost the exact same time. Here's hoping the old "they come in threes" saying doesn't apply today.
Aware of the Vice-Presidential debate, aware of the Dodgers/Cubs playoff games, but life goes on; maybe next time (commentary).
