A Funeral and No Wedding . . .

Four hours past Ideal Time . . .

Though I got there three hours late, I was a bit surprised to find services still going, though the casket had been closed. Remembering how long special Catholic services could be, especially when involving a lot of family members, the surprise quickly wore off. This could be considered a preview for the big reunion that her 100 year celebration - would have been a 100 year birthday party had she hung on - will be.

Mother's Day '08 . . .

Yup, the big Mother's Day Brunch, five hours used up going, staying, coming back. A bit somber, as this might be the last time my grandmother gets to enjoy this alive. Grandma Cita has been battling leukemia for the last year and a half, and shows signs of having suffered a stroke. At 99 years of age, she's lived a great, long life, still; the hope is she'll make it to 100 this November . . .

Am currently watching TNA Sacrifice . . .

All this, and it's Sunday, thus Laundry Day, to boot; I find myself having to end this right now, so that's that . . .
