Going Through the Motions . . .

Two and a half hours past Ideal Time (out of the shower by 8 AM) . . .

Better day, part of a messy week, part of a messy month . . . well, I keep going . . .

Saw Zombieland a coupla weeks ago; fun, but no real time to speak of it now.

Oh yeah, Brain Age day . . .

Trekkin' to Tomorrow . . .

Three and a half hours past Ideal Time (out of the shower by 8 AM) . . .

Besides looking for the new Star Trek tomorrow, a Brain Age day, a day for a chiropractic visit, and another messy morning in what appears to be a lost week; at least I got some big shows cleared from my DVR cue . . .

Getting the Week Over With . . .

One hour and twenty minutes past Ideal Time (out of the shower by 8 AM) . . .

A good bit of DST, going to see Watchmen, and a major repair/reboot to my main computer all contributed to knocking me for a loop. Anyway, I hope this post means I'm back.

Brain Age Day, not much more to say otherwise, maybe in another post.

Two hours past Ideal Time . . .

Ummm, not much to say about today. Brain Age, a typical Thursday, maybe I'll elaborate another day.

The week progresses; unless the Oscars have an effect, next week should be better.

Xmas Hangover . . .

Six hours past Ideal Time . . .

So, still recovering from the whole Xmas thing, and now time to get ready for the end of the year, with the Big Cleaning, and preparing for New Year's In Las Vegas; things will only start getting done again some time after the new year begins. Oh, and I snuck in a hair cut and Brain Age session today as well.

Some Vet, Some Good News . . .

Two hours and twenty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

A Brain Age Day, and a day I had to take Charlotte to the vet for a recheck on her UTI; her sample came out clear, almost a sure sign she's cured.

In the Better-Late-Than-Never file, on several levels still fun!:

Good Sleep, Good(ish) Charlotte . . .

Six and a quarter hours past Ideal Time . . .

In spite of the late time, the explanation means good results for me! I forced myself to bed early last night, foregoing a lot for this morning; as messy as the morning was, I got a very good night's sleep, and got a reminder of what waking up early is like! How well this worked will be determined by when I wake up tomorrow.

Took Charlotte to the vet; while she seems fine overall, the mysterious bloody pee continues to perplex, oh well . . .

Slowly Getting Back . . .

Four hours and twenty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

Honestly, not much to talk about; after such an eventful Tuesday, it's hard to follow with just about anything. Oh well, sometimes boring is good.

Time is short today, yet when I do have time, I'll elaborate on smaller and smaller details - like what comics I read, or what I watch on TV - that will probably better illuminate my overall life.

Futility Inc. . . .

Four hours and forty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

This was the kind of day that tries me; after a lot of emo, I'm feeling a lot better now. I'm aware I'm going to bed late today, making an early get up tomorrow unlikely. The week, a week with great potential is ruined; oh well . . . Who knows, I might actually get something done tomorrow if I'm pessimistic enough; this week is what happens when I look forward to something. It never fails, the moment I look forward to/get optimistic about something, it becomes a guaranteed failure; I'm aware of how badly this bodes for my future, but I guess for some of us that's just the way it is; I literally can't afford to be confident.

Yes, I'm aware confidence is the most important thing women look for in men; yes, I have accepted I will spend the rest of my life in solitude, though, for someone as anti-social as me, that's actually a very good thing; yes, sexual satifaction will involve heavy use of my right hand, and possibly lots of money for good ol' legal prostitutes in Nevada.

Enough self-pity, back to the rest of my daily life . . . not much to say, really . . .

When Morning Counts . . .

Four hours and fifty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

As bad as it looks, not bad considering yesterday, and - most importantly - I got up at 4:50 AM in spite of how things eventually worked out! So long as I get up early, all I have to do is clear the mess out; boulder body is still hard to deal with, but it's a step!

Five and a half hours past Ideal Time . . .

Well, all the big stuff seems out of the way; so, not counting that rescheduled chiropractic appointment tomorrow, it looks like it just might be smooth sailing if I wake up early tomorrow.

Normally I avoid politics here, but these were too good!:

Time is NOT on my Side . . .

Two and a half hours past Ideal Time . . .

On a Brain Age Day, more delays; the money came through for the eBay item I sold yesterday, so I'll have to mail it tomorrow, when I'll have to find time one way or the other. At least I got another good long walk in, one to go!

Well, I seem to have found the reason for my (and a lot of other people's) allergies the last couple of weeks: palm pollen. It seems it's mating season for Southern California's palm trees, and with literally every street in our fine city/county lined with them, it guarantees a sky full of plant sperm. With no credible way to hide from this, short of moving, I'll just stick it out.

"7 Years" should be more than enough to explain today, without a doubt the event of my generation. Not much more to say on that.

Today was a pretty good day, got a lot more done than I expected; I'll see about getting some flossing done tonight.

Ugh . . .

Four hours and ten minutes past Ideal Time . . .

So, the ants last night, more ants this morning, yet another restart for my computer, and a boulder body made for quite a messy morning . . .

To boot, I had to make a few mail deliveries - with complications of their own -, get my car washed - now that it's going back in the garage-, and top off its gas tank. Yes, "had to," I'm not the kind of person who tends to set obligations back; the deliveries had been payed for (eBay auctions), they had to be delivered. In the end, with this a Brain Age Day, and dinner a bit more important now that a household member is back from her trip, I had to hold off on today's planned walk. I guess I'll be limited to two walks this week. If it goes right, three walks next week, four the week after, then five-and-four-depending-on-obligations the weeks after . . .

Besides being reminded to write to my relatives in Peru, I'm set to plan to go to Peru come March; well, it's better than no plan. It'll likely be my final trip in a while . . .

Pushing the Limits . . .

Three hours past Ideal Time . . .

I really slipped; I just had to floss last night, first time in a while, ended up making me late, and I don't regret it. Did a little more messaging that needed this morning, and then I just had to go for a walk on what was already a Brain Age Day . . . though it certainly helped clear my mind. Anyway, a lot of time was used up, as I just kept pushing the limits. The limits pushed today will hopefully make tomorrow a lot clearer.

Speaking of pushing limits, a lot of that going on in Denver, and that is certainly not to be regretted!

Gain Some, Lose Some . . .

Two hours and forty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

A lot earlier today, but on a Brain Age Day, and a day I had to make my bank deposits. Oh, and the parents had to leave for Las Vegas for a big Slots Tournament over the weekend.

Yes, I'll say it, I'm 32 and still live with my parents; things are a bit messy for me right now, but I still hope to get a job and move into an apartment in due time. Well, with only me in this fairly big house, there's a lot more to do; as I said, "Lose Some" . . .

Terminal Day . . .

Three hours and twenty minutes past Ideal Time . . .

Well, Kim went home early today; considering developments in the last few days, she certainly had good reason. She certainly should be happy back home in Colorado; maybe she can finally figure out what the deal between her and J.D. is, or just keep enjoying what they have. We ended up going to Ramen Nippon on the way to the airport, also taking a tour of The Valley en route.

Besides a late Brain Age, I also finally did a perfect (100/100/100 in every mission) Hard Campaign in Advance Wars DS; I guess time to do the same with the regular campaign, then the many solo missions, and move on to Days of Ruin along the way.
